As we settle into 2022, I can’t help but to reflect on everything that happened in 2021 and the wonderful clients I had the opportunity to work with! As an entrepreneur, the start of a new year is the perfect time to reflect on what you’ve accomplished, celebrate your wins and decide what you want to bring with you into the year ahead. As I look back on 2021, the one word that describes my year is ✨ transformation ✨ for both Monarch Design Co and our clients that underwent brand refreshes that breathed new life into their biz. As this ambitious entrepreneur grew and evolved her business, she came to Monarch Design Co hoping for polished, strategy-driven branding to reflect her story and who she helps through her coaching and facilitation services. Blackbird Fine Art Photography captures timeless moments for modern romantics. As Melissa ventured out to expand her wedding photography business into the high-end market, our goal was to create a brand that gave her the wings to grow to new heights. To achieve this, this design draws on heirloom imagery paired with modern calligraphy and serif font to capture Blackbird’s love for timeless imagery and capturing love-filled moments. With branding that now reflects what she does best through her beautiful photography, she’s ready to draw in her dream clients as she enters into the next chapter of her business!

Le Petit House offers a variety of wedding, events and home staging services for the heart and home to create moments that reflect your beautiful journey. To reflect Le Petit House’s values and passion for making every moment something to treasure, this branding channels a cheerful and welcoming feel with organic imagery and a touch of minimal greenery. Korantemaa Larbi Design
This wasn’t really a before and after but a new fresh launch instead! Korantemaa Larbi Design is a New York City based design studio specializing in Afro luxury furniture, design products, textiles and wall coverings inspired by its Architect-trained founder and creative director’s roots in Ghana, West Africa — with a contemporary twist. To represent the history, story and culture of the design studio, this branding draws on a rich colour palette and elements from their collections’ textile patterns and symbols to create a sophisticated monogram that provides the roots for the growth they continue to experience as we enter the new year.

Wedding Planner
This beautiful brand was designed from one of our semi custom brand sets and aims to attract this wedding planner’s dream clients: those that appreciate sentimental and intimate affairs. I customized this brand with a modern and sophisticated colour palette that allowed Lynkahn’s business to take flight with a logo, business card design and social media templates that showcase her passion for telling her clients’ love story.
Katie Crane
Photography
Katie Crane’s wedding photography captures romantic and honest imagery full of love and light for engagement, weddings and family. To reflect this talented photographer’s stunning images, I created this brand with an elegant feel in mind. With a delicate botanical detail paired with modern calligraphy and serif font, this brand draws on Katie’s romantic, intimate imagery so she can attract the clients she dreams of working with!
