I built Monarch Design Co. because I kept seeing the same thing: talented women with brilliant businesses, held back by a brand that didn't reflect what they were actually capable of. Not because they weren't good enough. Because no one had helped them show it.
I'm a Registered Graphic Designer (RGD) and Showit Design Partner with 15+ years of experience, and I've taught branding, typography, and web design at the college level. But what I'm most proud of isn't the credentials. It's the clients who tell me they finally feel confident sending someone to their website. The ones who raised their prices by 138% after their rebrand. The ones who booked their first $5k+ client the month we launched.

When my mom was going through her cancer diagnosis, I started seeing monarch butterflies everywhere. I didn't think much of it at first. But they kept showing up. I learned they're a symbol of growth, rebirth, and assurance and that was exactly what I needed to hold onto in that season.
It's also what I see in every client I work with. Visionaries at an inflection point. Ready to rise into something that finally fits who they're becoming.
Where the name comes from

I've worked in corporate design, run a luxury wedding stationery business, and taught at the post-secondary level. I've seen what makes a brand actually work, and I put every bit of that into what we create for you.

I'm Ashley Wyatt, the creative mind behind Monarch Design Co., specializing in branding and web design for small businesses and entrepreneurs. With over a decade of experience as a full-stack graphic and web designer, I'm passionate about crafting unique brand identities and Showit websites that are as strategic as they are beautiful.
As a mom of two under two, I know firsthand what it means to juggle big dreams and real life—and I bring that same intentionality and empathy into every project. At Monarch Design Co., we're here to help you build an online presence that works just as hard as you do. Whether you need a high-converting website or a standout brand, we make it happen with purpose, heart, and strategy.

I'm in my granny hobby era: gardening, sourdough, and knitting. My husband and I just bought our first home and are learning a lot as we renovate it ourselves (with two babies in tow!).

Brandilynn started as a wedding photographer and grew into her passion for designing high-converting websites for entrepreneurs. With over a decade of experience and a background in sociolinguistics, she’s dedicated to helping small businesses shine online. Outside of design, her heart belongs to her three boys and her husband.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her living and adventuring full-time in their RV. For Brandilynn, it’s all about heart, family, and creating with purpose.
Andrea

Meet Andrea - brand designer, mom of three, and lover of all things business - a seasoned creative with 15 years of experience in design, consulting and brand development.
Her passion is to connect with, and to empower business owners through design - helping them grow their brands, to create meaningful and thoughtful visual identities, and to bring their ideas to life through the power of good design.
fun fact:
Andrea is originally from sunny South African, now living in (a-little-less-sunny!) Scotland - she loves to watch her favourite tv shows, knit/do other crafty things and to explore locally.
Robyn
designer
Robyn spent years as an animator in film and TV before channeling her lifelong love of art into full-time design work. She brings a creative, problem-solving approach to everything she touches. She also makes an incredible sourdough.
fun fact:
When she's not designing, you'll find her thrifting, camping with her partner and two rescue pups, playing video games or deep into whatever TV show she's currently binging. For Robyn, more creative projects running at once is always better.

Katie is an Operations Strategist with a Director of Operations Certification and a wealth of practical and on-the-job knowledge and experience.
Dedicated to supporting online business owners, Katie specializes in taking over the day-to-day operations, allowing entrepreneurs to scale their businesses with ease. By handling the behind-the-scenes tasks, she empowers her clients to focus on their core strengths and show up as their best selves in their businesses.
fun fact:
Katie's family rescue Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and have rescued 12+ over the last 10 years (not all at once of course) but they are looking forward to bringing home another one soon!

Laura is who we turn to for powerful copy you can get excited about. She’s who you want in your corner when you want your words to actually make people stop and listen, and we’re here for it! Laura uses her expertise in understanding your mission, what your clients want to hear, and using your brand voice to attract attention. Partnering with Laura means your copy makes as big an impact as the design we create for you. Which means a serious boost in confidence and sales.
fun fact:
Though 3 kids make it challenging, Laura thrives on simplicity and a minimalistic environment (bonus points if it’s outside!). She’ll always choose experiences over stuff, and likes to sell things online to upgrade her next trip.
