The values behind Monarch Design Co. are rooted in real-life growth, personal transformation, and family. For me, it all started during a really hard season.

Years ago, my mom was diagnosed with stage 3A breast cancer. We were gathering for a family BBQ just before she began treatment, when a monarch butterfly floated past us. Then someone said, “I’ve been seeing monarchs everywhere.” One by one, my sisters, my mom, my aunt, my grandma — we all realized we’d been seeing them too.

We looked up the meaning of the monarch and learned they symbolize transformation, growth, and rebirth.
A sign that everything will be okay.

The butterflies became a symbol of hope for our family—and the beginning of something entirely new for me.

That’s when Monarch Design Co. was born.
